DEE
JONES Management Team
The
Management Team of DEE JONES Petroleum &
Gas Limited consists of the Chairman and Directors,
all Executive Managers of the Company and
the members of the Advisory Board of the comany's
operating business segments. The Management
Team is ultimately responsible for setting
the policies, strategy and direction of the
Company, subject to the overall direction
and supervision of the board of directors.
 Sir
Jonah Onyebuchi Eze, the Chairman of Dee
Jones Petroleum and Gas Limited.
He is the Chairman of Dee Jones Petroleum
and Gas Limited. He is a member of the Nigerian
Institute of Directors and an accomplished
Industrialist. He is also Chairman of many
other associated Companies in fish and cold
storage business, vegetable oil mill processing,
Petroleum oil Drilling and Services and
Construction. He is a Government Licenced
Dealer in Sporting Arms and Ammunition to
Government Agencies and individuals licensed
to bear sporting arms and ammunition. However,
the arms dealership business has been temporarily
suspended following the Federal Government
embargo on arms and ammunition since the
Abacha regime in 1995.
Sir
Eze is a shrewd business strategist with
dealings with businessmen in all continents
of the globe. He has been in business since
the ‘30s starting with the timber
trade in the South West of Nigeria, from
which he graduated to import and distribution
of electronics and power products. He was
soon to move into the Pharmaceutical industry
and construction as well as fire arms. He
later purchased fishing trolleys in the
70s and built fish storage cold rooms. Later
on in the 90’s, with liberalization
of the oil industry in Nigeria, he had the
foresight to build a petroleum product storage
depot. Sir Eze possesses vast experience
in Organization and Management of small
to large scale Industrial and Commercial
businesses. He is widely traveled and has
over the years imbibed a keen and sensitive
business sense as well as an appreciation
for the most modern practice and approach
to business. He
is an accomplished Politician, Philanthropist
and Community Leader. He is Grand Patron
of the Anambra Chapter of the Nigerian Civil
Defence Corp and a patron of the Nigerian
Red Cross. Sir Jonah Eze is a member of
the Knight of Saint Christopher in the Anglican
Communion.
 Richard
C. Eze (Managing Director). He holds
a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Business
Administration and Management. He is a member
of the Nigerian Institute of Directors and
the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chatered).
He has attended Senior Management Training
Courses in Nigeria and abroad in General Management,
Petroleum Economics, International Finance,
Decision making Analyses, Business Planning,
Corporate Finance, Brand Marketing, leadership
& Strategy and Personnel Management. Possessing
vast experience in corporate trading and consumer
product and market management, supply chain
management, he is an experienced and versatile
manager of men and resources. His first challenge
as a young graduate was to establish brand
leadership for a range of firearms and ammunitions.
With his then ingenious marketing strategy;
he penetrated the harsh markets of Onitsha,
Aba, Owerri, Port Harcourt and Benin. He was
to accomplish the same feat for pharmaceuticals
this time spreading to the South West and
Lagos in particular. He is a driver of men
who are willing to follow him into anything.
Commanding respect from his peers and subordinates,
he drives the resources of the company to
achieve its objectives. An avid negotiator
strives to maintain high morale in the entire
company. He is an active footballer, loves
Politics and Music.
 Samuel
C. Eze (Executive Director –Strategy
and Business Development). He holds
a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree
in Political Science, International Relations
and Management. A member of the Nigerian Institute
of Directors and the Nigerian Institute of
Management (Chartered), he has to his credit
several middle and Senior level Management
courses and seminars in Nigeria and abroad
in Management and the Operation of the Petroleum
Oil business, Petroleum product trading, Shipping
and Maritime, Petroleum Economics, Business
Development and Strategy, Finance, Personnel
Management, Business Negotiations. He possesses
vast experience in Marketing and Sales of
Industrial Products, and General Management.
His strength of foresight has been instrumental
in developing new business directions for
the company. His well horned professional
negotiating skills remain a reckoning on Dee
Jones negotiating table. He loves Lawn Tennis,
reading and Politics.
 Eric
K. Eze (Executive Director – Operations).
He has a HND in Quanity Surveying,
a Post Graduate Degree in Construction Management
and Masters in International Relations. He
has undergone ample training in the areas
of Operations Management, Shipping, Vessel
Operations and Management, Fire Fighting,
Disaster Management and Safety Courses in
the United States and Nigeria. Before his
appointment to this position, he was Operations
Manager with Loto Oils Nigeria Limited and
General Manager (Operations) in Diamond Dredging
Nigeria Limited. His experiences in Project
Management, international procurement, offshore
operations have come to bear largely in his
functions as Head of Operations for the company.
He is a member of the Institute of Surveyors
and Institute of Management. He is a lover
of Sports and Politics.
 Moses
C. Eze (Executive Director – Finance).
He
possesses a Bachelors Degree in Co-operative
Economics and a Masters Degree in Banking
and Finance. He was a core member of Operations
in International Merchant Bank PLC. before
his appointment. He has undergone training/workshops
on Banking Operational Procedures, Inter and
Intra Bank Reconciliation, Asset and Portfolio
Management., Financial Accounting, Personnel
Management and Budgeting His main specialties
are Asset Management and Due Diligence Procedures.
He is a sports and classical music enthusiast.
 Roselyn
U. Samuels (Executive Director, Technical
Services / Depot Operations). She
possesses a Bachelor of Engineering Degree
in Metallurgical/Materials Engineering and
a Post Graduate Diploma in Economics. She
has hands on experience in Corrosion design
and control, Material processing and alloy
development, Project management and control
Project Engineering and design, Quality Control
and Inspection, Failure investigation, Research
and development, Foundation and Civil Engineering,
Tank Farm Construction and Management and
Economic Analyses. She has undergone a good
number of Middle and Senior level Management
courses in Oil Depot Management and Organisation,
Personnel Management, Financial Analyses,
as well as Oil Spillage Control and Disaster
Management. She has a passion for safety and
security. She has worked in various capacities
in the power and steel sector as well as the
oil and gas sector. Engr. Roselyn Samuels
has also undergone training as a Port Facility
Security Officer under the International Ship
and Port Faciltiy Security Code of the International
Maritime Organisation. She is a lover sports
and Christian music.
